Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State — March 26, 2026

A new chapter in the political landscape of Ibeju-Lekki is set to unfold this Thursday as Hon. Azeez O. Rahmon officially declares his intention to contest for the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I.

The declaration event, scheduled for 10:30 AM at J7 Gadeen, Abule Panu, Lekki-Epe Expressway, is expected to draw community leaders, party stakeholders, youths, and residents from across the constituency in what promises to be a defining moment for grassroots politics.

Positioned as more than just a political ambition, Rahmon’s declaration signals the birth of a people-driven movement anchored on progress, inclusion, and sustainable development. His vision reflects a commitment to amplifying the voices of the people and delivering impactful representation at the state level.

The event will feature a keynote address by renowned guest speaker Dr. Yusuff Abiodun Abideen, whose insights are expected to further energize supporters and highlight the importance of responsive leadership in shaping the future of Ibeju-Lekki.

Rahmon’s candidacy aligns with the broader Renewed Hope 2027 agenda under the leadership of Ahmed Tinubu, reinforcing a shared vision of growth, unity, and prosperity across Lagos State and beyond.

Described by supporters as “a voice for the people and a symbol of a better future,” Hon. Rahmon’s campaign—branded RAMAZ 2027—is already gaining momentum as residents prepare to rally behind a candidate they believe understands their needs and aspirations.

Stakeholders and members of the public are encouraged to attend and be part of what is widely anticipated to be a historic gathering that could shape the future of Ibeju-Lekki politics.

“This is more than a declaration; it is the beginning of a journey toward a brighter and more inclusive future,” a campaign representative stated.

As anticipation builds, all eyes are now on Ibeju-Lekki as the journey toward 2027 officially begins.
