
In a demonstration of support for strengthened security and community engagement, Eleniyan recently paid a courtesy visit to the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, commending his leadership and vision for a safer Nigeria.
During the visit, Eleniyan emphasized that effective policing is a shared responsibility that requires active collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and all law-abiding citizens. He noted that building safer communities depends on mutual trust, cooperation, and a collective resolve to prevent crime, address neighborhood challenges, and ensure that offenders are brought to justice.
Eleniyan described the appointment of IGP Disu as a fitting choice, highlighting his professionalism, dedication to community policing, commitment to border security, and his drive for international collaboration in law enforcement. According to him, the IGP embodies the qualities needed to reposition policing in Nigeria and enhance public confidence in security institutions.
He expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded during the visit and extended heartfelt congratulations to the IGP on his appointment, reaffirming unwavering support for his administration.
