Lagostrend report that the Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have unanimously endorsed Hon. Adebayo Olusegun Balogun (MHR) for a third term in office, signaling a resounding vote of confidence in his leadership and performance.
The endorsement followed a series of high-level consultations and strategic meetings involving key political stakeholders, party chieftains, and community leaders within the constituency. The decision reflects a shared commitment to continuity, unity, and sustained development across Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency.
Speaking on behalf of the leaders, party stakeholders described Hon. Balogun as a visionary and result-driven lawmaker whose tenure has been marked by impactful projects, grassroots empowerment initiatives, and people-oriented policies. They emphasized that his leadership has brought tangible progress to the constituency, particularly in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and social welfare.

Oladele Ajayi “Oladbaba”, representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency II.
Other notable attendees included Hon. Abdul Kabir Ogungbo, Special Adviser on Taxation and Revenue; Alhaji Idowu Eletu, former House of Assembly member; and Alhaji Shoniyi, former Council Chairman. The gathering also featured serving council chairmen, Hon. Engr. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa “Jaja” of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Hon. Engr. Rasak Bamidele Kasali “RBK” of Lekki LCDA, alongside several former council chairmen and political stakeholders.
