Hon. Babington Sodik Olabode Pledges Inclusive Leadership, Unity as Chairman-Elect of Lagos State Supervisors and Special Advisers Forum

The Chairman-Elect of the Lagos State Supervisors and Special Advisers Forum (LSSF), Hon. Babington Sodik Olabode, has expressed profound appreciation to members of the forum for the confidence reposed in him, promising to lead an all-inclusive administration anchored on unity, transparency, accountability, and service.
In his acceptance address following his election as Chairman for the 2025–2029 tenure, Hon. Olabode described his victory as a collective achievement, emphasizing that the mandate belongs to every member of the forum.
“I sincerely thank every member of this forum for the confidence you have reposed in me by electing me as your Chairman. I consider this victory not as a personal achievement, but as a collective triumph for all of us,” he said.
The Chairman-Elect also expressed heartfelt appreciation to members of the Lagos Central Senatorial District Supervisors and Special Advisers for electing him as their representative, assuring them that he would justify the confidence placed in him through purposeful and selfless leadership.
Extending a hand of fellowship to all members, including those who did not support his candidacy, Hon. Olabode stressed that the election had come to an end and that the time had come for reconciliation and collaboration.
“There are no winners or losers. From this moment forward, we are one united Lagos State Supervisors and Special Advisers Forum, committed to a common vision and shared progress,” he stated.
He pledged to provide leadership driven by integrity, fairness, inclusiveness, and transparency while ensuring that every member, regardless of local government, affiliation, or personal differences, has equal opportunities to contribute to the growth of the forum.
According to him, his administration will prioritize strengthening unity among members, promoting their welfare and professional development, encouraging collaboration across all local governments, and ensuring that the forum remains a respected and influential voice on issues affecting supervisors and special advisers across Lagos State.
Hon. Olabode also acknowledged the Electoral Committee for conducting a credible, transparent, and peaceful election, while commending all contestants for their maturity, sportsmanship, and unwavering commitment to democratic values.
Looking ahead to the 2027 General Elections, the Chairman-Elect called on members of the forum to remain steadfast in their commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) by actively participating in mobilization and electioneering campaigns across Lagos State.
“As the 2027 General Elections approach, it is our collective responsibility to support and mobilize for our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). Together, we must work tirelessly to ensure another resounding victory for our party,” he said.
Reaffirming his commitment to open and participatory leadership, Hon. Olabode assured members that his administration would remain accessible and responsive, providing an environment where every voice would be heard without fear or favour.
He concluded by seeking the cooperation, prayers, and constructive contributions of all members, expressing confidence that together they would build a stronger, more united, and more impactful Lagos State Supervisors and Special Advisers Forum.
Hon. Olabode also prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the members of the forum, the All Progressives Congress, Lagos State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
