The Lagos State Supervisors/Special Advisers Forum (LSSF) has successfully concluded the election of its new State Executive Council for the 2026–2029 tenure, ushering in a new leadership committed to unity, grassroots development, members’ welfare, and strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Lagos State.
Speaking on behalf of the Forum, the State Secretary-Elect, Hon. Adeleke Olabanjo, FCPA, congratulated all the newly elected executives drawn from the Lagos Central, Lagos East, and Lagos West Senatorial Districts.
At the helm of the new administration is Hon. Olabode Sodiq Babington of Lagos Island East LCDA, who emerged as the Chairman, while Hon. Olamide Taiwo of Isolo LCDA was elected Deputy Chairman alongside other distinguished executives representing the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) across the state.
Hon. Olabanjo described the successful election as a clear demonstration of the confidence, unity, and collective vision shared by members of the Forum.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the Secretariat to work closely with the new Chairman and Executive Council in building a stronger, more responsive, and result-oriented Forum.
“Our Chairman, Hon. Olabode Sodiq Babington, possesses the leadership capacity, experience, and dedication required to move the Forum to greater heights. The Secretariat under my leadership as State Secretary will provide total support and unwavering loyalty to ensure the successful implementation of his vision for LSSF,” he stated.
The State Secretary-Elect also called on all members of the newly inaugurated Executive Council to embrace teamwork, mutual respect, and unity of purpose as they begin the important task of promoting members’ welfare, strengthening the Forum, and mobilising support for the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He emphasized that the new administration would focus on consolidating the achievements of the Forum while creating more opportunities for collaboration, effective representation, and impactful service delivery across Lagos State.
“The work begins now. Together, we shall build an LSSF that is respected, responsive, and results-driven. Our commitment remains unwavering to the progress of our members, our party, and the continued development of Greater Lagos,” Hon. Olabanjo added.
Members of the Forum have expressed optimism that the newly elected leadership will deepen unity, enhance organisational effectiveness, and advance the collective aspirations of Supervisors and Special Advisers across all councils in Lagos State.
