The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken another proactive step towards strengthening internal party organisation and accountability, as the State Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, issued a clear directive to party executives at the ward and local government levels.

Speaking at the Lagos East Senatorial District Stakeholders Meeting, Hon. Ojelabi announced that every APC executive member at the ward and Local Government Area (LGA) levels is expected to submit a copy of their party registration slip. He stated that the submissions should be channeled through their respective LGA Chairmen to the State Party Secretariat on or before Monday, January 19, 2026.

According to the State Chairman, the directive is aimed at enhancing proper documentation, verifying party membership, and reinforcing discipline within the party structure. He emphasized that a well-organised and transparent membership system is critical to the APC’s continued growth, unity, and electoral success in Lagos State.

Hon. Ojelabi commended party leaders, stakeholders, and grassroots members across Lagos East for their unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC, noting that such administrative measures are essential for building a stronger, more inclusive, and people-driven party.

He urged all affected party executives to comply promptly, assuring them that the exercise is designed to promote fairness, accountability, and efficiency within the party, while positioning the APC for future political engagements.

The Lagos APC leadership reaffirmed its resolve to maintain an open, credible, and united party structure that reflects the confidence and aspirations of its members across all levels.
