  • Eredo LCDA Hosts Inspiring Annual Ramadan Lecture, Urges Muslims to “Be Muslim Enough”

    Lagostrend report that the Unified Local Government Muslim Staff Association in collaboration with the Eredo Local Council Development Area successfully held its highly anticipated Annual Ramadan Lecture at the Council Secretariat, drawing a large gathering of Muslim faithful, community leaders, and dignitaries.

    The spiritually enriching programme, themed “Be Muslim Enough,” featured an enlightening lecture delivered by renowned Islamic scholar, Prof. Tajudeen Olalekan Yusuf, who emphasized the importance of sincerity in faith, righteousness, devotion to Allah, and adherence to the true teachings of Islam, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

    The event was hosted by Usman Issa Abidogun, with Alhaja Giwa Monsurat Mojisola serving as the Co-Host. The Chief Host, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Ismail Akinloye, warmly received guests and participants who gathered to partake in the annual spiritual gathering.

    The programme also witnessed the presence of council executives, legislative members, party faithful, community stakeholders, and the good people of Eredo LCDA, reflecting the unity and shared commitment to faith and community development within the historic Eredo axis of Epe Division in Lagos State.

    In his remarks, the Executive Chairman reaffirmed the council’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote moral values, spiritual growth, and peaceful coexistence among residents. He noted that the annual Ramadan Lecture has become a cherished tradition that encourages reflection, strengthens faith, and fosters unity among Muslims in the community.

    The lecture served as a moment of deep reflection and spiritual renewal, reminding attendees of the importance of living a life guided by honesty, trust, compassion, and devotion to Allah.

    The well-attended gathering concluded with prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity for Eredo LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole.

    Participants described the event as uplifting and impactful, praying that Allah accepts the fasts, prayers, and good intentions of all Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.
