The Alajasa of Lagasa Kingdom Commends Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa as Ibeju-Lekki Unveils Major Development Projects and 2027 Budget Consultation

Lagostrend report that his Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Ayinde Nasir, the Alajasa of Lagasa Kingdom, has commended the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, for his outstanding leadership and commitment to community development across the council area.

The royal commendation was made on Thursday, September 24, 2026, during the Ibeju-Lekki Community Development Showcase and 2027 Budget Consultative Forum, a landmark event organized by the local government to highlight its achievements and engage residents in shaping the future development agenda of the council.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the event, Oba Adeleke Ayinde Nasir praised Hon. Olowa for delivering impactful projects and programmes under the administration’s SHIEELD Agenda, describing the chairman as a leader dedicated to improving the welfare of the people through purposeful governance.

The monarch noted that the visible development projects and people-centered initiatives being implemented across Ibeju-Lekki are clear indications of an administration focused on progress, accountability, and sustainable growth.

Among the major projects and initiatives unveiled during the programme were the Community Security & Intelligence Network (CSIN), Desalu Primary Health Centre, Career Accelerator Programme (CAP), Automated Street Naming and Addressing Portal, and the official Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Website.

Other highlights included the presentation of Student Bursary Awards, the disbursement of the 6th Batch Conditional Cash Transfer Programme, and the showcasing of development projects at Magbon Alade Primary School and Mopo Ijebu Primary School, alongside several other infrastructural and community-based initiatives.

Oba Nasir commended the administration for prioritizing security, healthcare, education, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, youth development, local economic empowerment, and digital governance, adding that the projects commissioned and unveiled during the event would have lasting positive impacts on the lives of residents.

The royal father also encouraged residents to continue supporting the administration and to actively participate in governance by contributing meaningful ideas that will help shape future development plans for the local government.
