  • FIVE SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANTS RESIGN FROM OMO’OBA ADETORO’S CABINET IN ETI-OSA LG

Five Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) serving under the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Omo’Oba Adeola Alimot Adetoro, have resigned from their respective positions in a development that marks a significant change within the council’s administration.

The aides who tendered their resignations are Comrade Giwa Micheal, Mr. Taiwo Hassan, Mr. Kehinde Badmus, Mrs. Benedict Doe, and Alhaja Biliki Elegushi.

According to the information made available, the five officials submitted separate resignation letters dated October 24, 2026, stating various reasons for their decisions to leave their positions.

While some cited pressing personal reasons, others referred to new professional engagements elsewhere and their inability to continue in service.

    Acknowledgement of Service

In their respective resignation letters, the outgoing aides expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman for the opportunity to serve under his administration.

Their decisions bring an end to their current roles as Senior Special Assistants in the Eti-Osa Local Government administration. However, the reasons given by the individuals suggest that their departures are based on differing personal and professional circumstances.

The simultaneous resignation of the five aides is expected to attract attention among stakeholders and observers of local government administration in Eti-Osa, given the number of officials involved.

A New Chapter for the Outgoing Aides

As they move on to their next endeavours, the former aides are expected to pursue their respective personal and professional interests following their exit from the council’s cabinet.

Meanwhile, attention may turn to how the Eti-Osa Local Government administration will address the vacancies created by their departures and any subsequent decisions concerning the composition of the Chairman’s team.

As of the time of this report, no additional details have been provided regarding possible replacements or further administrative changes arising from the resignations.

The development underscores the changing dynamics of public service, where personal circumstances, career opportunities, and other professional considerations can influence decisions to remain in or leave public office.

Lagostrend Media will continue to monitor developments in Eti-Osa Local Government Area and provide updates as more information becomes available.
