Hon. Dr. Segun Agbaje, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, seeking to represent Epe Constituency 1.
Segun Agbaje, who served two terms as chairman of Epe LG, made his ambition known on sunday amid growing support from political associates and community members in epe.
He said, “My decision to run for the epe Constituency 1 seat at the Lagos State House of Assembly is informed by my passion to serve my people.”
According to endorsements by party leaders and members within the constituency, Hon. Segun Agbaje is widely regarded as a “tested and trusted leader,” with advocates highlighting his familiarity with local issues and his continued residence in epe as a sign of commitment to his roots.
He also emphasised on his leadership style, noting attributes such as accessibility, empathy, and what they described as a capacity to engage effectively with people across different social strata.
Segun Agbaje supporters have urged party stakeholders and constituents to rally behind his candidacy, expressing confidence in his chances of securing the party ticket and winning the seat.
